Cookie policy
Last updated: 4 April 2026. This Cookie policy describes how Talent Management BV (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Dattaa website and in the web application, together with our Privacy policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a site. We also use local storage in your browser (e.g. to keep you signed in to the web app). Local storage is not a cookie but is regulated similarly in many jurisdictions; we describe both here.
2. How we use cookies
We classify cookies as:
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function, security, load balancing, or to remember essential choices (e.g. language where implemented via cookie).
- Functional: remember preferences such as language or display options.
- Analytics / performance: help us understand aggregate traffic and improve the product (only where deployed and, where required, after your consent).
- Marketing: we do not use third-party advertising cookies on the core product today; if we add them, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.
3. Cookie table (first-party)
The following first-party cookies are used in the current web application (names and lifetimes may evolve with product updates):
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
dattaa-locale | Stores your selected interface language for server-rendered pages and consistency with the client. | Functional (preference) | Up to 12 months |
Essential cookies may be set without consent under ePrivacy rules where they are strictly necessary to provide a service you request. Non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics) require consent in the EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions when we enable them.
4. Session and authentication (local storage)
The web app may store an access token and minimal account metadata in your browser’s local storage (e.g. keys such as token, dattaa_access_token, and user) to keep you signed in. This is not a cookie but processes similar identifiers; see our Privacy policy for the legal bases and retention. You can clear this data via browser settings or by logging out.
5. Third-party and infrastructure cookies
Our hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g. Vercel) may set cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to deliver the site securely. Payment pages operated by our payment partner (e.g. Stripe) may set their own cookies subject to their policies. Embedded content (e.g. videos) may set third-party cookies; we minimise such embeds where possible.
6. Managing cookies and storage
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings (usually under “Privacy” or “Site settings”). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, language selection, or core features from working. To withdraw consent for optional cookies, use our cookie controls if provided, or clear cookies for our domain and refresh the page.
For more on how we use personal data, see the Privacy policy.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
